Don’t Take My Home

Campaign.

With the 2024 Euro’s taking the Great British public’s attention. We devised a campaign that would highlight the depletion of the Amazon Rainforest.

With the familiar chant sung across Europe ‘Don’t Take My Home’ species such as Jaguars, Macaws and Sloths homes are being taken. Football pitch sized areas of Amazon rainforest deforested with impact on the inhabiting species and the planets health.

The rainforest needs the same amount of attention and our film and campaign pointed out that while we watch in awe, worship all four corners of the the football pitch we need to consider the impact of deforestation and give the land we forgot the same attention.

The resulting piece is a film with additional social assets that represent football at all levels from grassroots misery to stadium filled ecstasy, drawing comparisons with fragile ecosystems.

We shot the film on location at our local football club Lewes FC. As well as combining familiar scenes of dressing rooms, terraces and stadiums with deforested rainforest land. Pointing out the scary statistics such as ‘1 football pitch worth of the rainforest is destroyed every 30 seconds’

‘Don’t Take My Home’ gives a voice to the Amazon and its inhabitants.
