Playing Field has been supporting WWF and the communication of The Living Planet Report for a number of years. The LPR 2022 is WWF’s most comprehensive study to date of trends in global biodiversity and the health of our planet.
The latest flagship publication reveals global wildlife populations have plummeted by 69% on average since 1970. The staggering rate of decline is a severe warning that the rich biodiversity that sustains all life on our planet is in crisis, putting every species at risk – including us.

Our creative campaign looks to distil the detailed survey and communicate the findings that nature is sending us an SOS and that our life support systems hang by a thread.
Our concept peeled back the layers of our complex world to reveal where nature works in unison and that we need to fix this environmental breakdown urgently.
Impact
More than 30 digital assets were translated to over 20 languages, used by over 60 WWF offices worldwide.
