40 Years
The Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF) represent 39 International Sports Federations, millions of members and billions of fans.
We were briefed to create a publication to celebrate their 40th Anniversary. The publication would be personally presented by ARISF President, Dr Raffaelle Chiuli, as a gift to each member Federation at their Annual General Assembly – giving us only a few weeks to complete the project.
Special Edition Book
To reflect the celebratory nature of the anniversary we wanted to create a publication that wasn’t run of the mill and felt special the moment it was touched.
Our solution was to create a hardback, coffee-table style book, featuring a de-bossed title and clear foiled logo to create a tactile and high-quality finish.
The inside pages featured Forewords from the Presidents of ARISF, SportAccord and the International Olympic Committee, graphical timelines and Member profiles.
Sustainability In Mind
Fifty copies were printed on FSC and CarbonNeutral Paper through the World Land Trust using a Carbon Neutral printer.
We calculated the carbon footprint of the project – including design time, production and delivery – and with additional tree planting through Ecologi, to offset the project.
A digital page turning version was also created for wider sharing on the ARISF website.
