Playing Field were approached by UNESCO’s Youth Section, Social and Human Sciences Sector, having created many publications for the organisation in the past, with a brief to create something entirely fresh to visualise a huge body of work.
The UNESCO Toolbox for youth policy and programming is a comprehensive go-to resource to support policy makers, public officials and practitioners, in designing and implementing policies for and with youth in all their diversity.

PERSPECTIVES
We created a colourful, typography-led look and feel inspired by timeless and minimalist design, brought into a contemporary space to speak to issues facing the youth of today through their unique and varied perspectives.
Workbook design
The Toolbox is a practical tool for groups and policy-makers, we created a system which works across both digital and printed versions – with particular attention put to a workbook of toolsheets, which can be duplicated many times for participatory activities.
